BIG WAKE WEEKEND TURNS UP THE AWARENESS WITH ROSEVILLE TRANSIT
Big Wake Weekend, billed as “California’s Premier Beach Picnic & Party combining Culture Sport & Entertainment,” slated for Folsom Lake State Recreation Area at Granite Bay, May 31 – June 2, 2013. This event marks the return of 200-mph H1 Unlimited Hydroplanes to Sacramento for the first time in 46 years. The three-day sun filled festival will also feature the Hyperlite Experience, wakeboarding’s foremost presentation and show, as well as American Power Boat Association (APBA) championship race series, exciting exhibitions, themed beer gardens, quality food & souvenir concessions and Nationwide Insurance’ Motorsports Midway with entertainment for all ages. Big Wake Weekend, powered by Toyota, is sure to be the Capital Region’s must-attend event of the year.
Big Wake Weekend will be the most entertaining event that has ever hit Folsom Lake, boasting a three day picnic party, Hyperlite wakeboarding exhibitions, themed beer gardens, beach-side general admission seating, VIP Boxes and Log Boom, and an Entertainment Midway smack dab in the middle of all of it. But lets not forget the #1 reason to be at BWW, and that’s The H1 Unlimited Series, featuring some of the fastest boats capable of 200+ MPH on the straightaways and running average lap speeds from 130-165 MPH.
