MADD, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, have been a client of Corvus’ for several years now. When the Sacramento office assumed the leadership role for all of California, we were there to ease them into the Web 2.0 movement by designing a wordpress site as a good foundation to start to interact with the public through social media and all its glory.

In keeping with the theme of updating, MADD California approached us with a redesign project. In interacting with the public over the years, they were using these small booklets to engage the youth about their knowledge of DUI laws. These booklets were meant to engage a demographic from the ages of 12-24 years old. The problem was that the imagery and colors used in the booklets were very “off the mark”, and kids had trouble relating. Basically, it was our job to make these booklets hip and interesting to a teenager. We were able to do this successfully by just trying to have fun with the project. We incorporated ridiculous imagery like “boxing chickens” and “the angry internet baby” into a hipper layout with a modern, grungy look balanced with bright colors.Download DUI Booklet

Corvus did a great job extracting the information that we did not even realize we wanted. They were professional and forward thinking.
